“Medicare 101” Classes

In partnership with Dignity/Dominican Hospital’s PEP community education program, Senior Network Services HICAP is offering three “Medicare 101” classes. Classes are free of charge and may be repeated.

Whether you’re turning 65 or helping a family member navigate the system’s complexities, understanding Medicare can be overwhelming. At this “Medicare 101” seminar, a registered HICAP counselor will help demystify:

  • The A, B, Cs (and D) of Medicare
  • Original Medicare vs. Medicare Advantage
  • When and to how to enroll
  • Choosing a drug plan
  • Supplementing Medicare

Join us on Wednesday evenings from 6:30‒8:30 on:

  • February 24
  • April 27
  • June 29
  • August 24

610 Frederick Street, Room 101, in Santa Cruz.

You can sign up by calling 457-7009 or by registering online at Dominican Hospital’s website.
