Volunteering at Dominican Hospital is a rewarding way to help in your community. Volunteers work in a variety of areas throughout the hospital and get first-hand experience of what it’s like to work in health care. Volunteers can choose from the following opportunities: Clerical, Hospitality Cart, Emergency Department, Information Desk, Patient Services/Nursing Units, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Physical/Occupational Therapy, Same-Day Surgery Waiting Room/Critical Care Unit, and Shuttle Service on Campus. In order to volunteer at Dominican Hospital you must be 16 years of age and be willing to commit to 100 hours of service. The application process consists of an interview , orientation, background check, Tuberculosis testing, T-Dap vaccination and Flu Vaccination during the months of September to April.
