The Santa Cruz County Psychiatric Health Facility is a locked acute psychiatric inpatient program. It is a safe, welcoming, recovery-focused place for people who are having a mental health emergency, and need more intensive treatment and support. If someone is in need of more intensive services they will be referred to The Psychiatric Health Facility by the Crisis Stabilization Program. They work with adults ages 18 and older, who have been diagnosed with a serious mental illness. They have staff that speak English and Spanish and their location is wheelchair accessible.
